It seems nothing stirs the emotions more quickly then talk of taxes. We are all willing to do our part but none of us want to be taxed unfairly. The question; what is fair and what works?

Who attended?

    •  The meeting was very good, the ipanels presentations were very informative
    • Elizabeth (+3 guests)
Thought the Q & A needed leadership. Too much from BOC chair, but it was good relevant info. I thought the man from the GBPI was excellent.
    •  The GBPI presentation and panel discussion reported the many unintended consequences that could happen if the assembly adopts Speaker Richardson's proposed legislation.
    • Cindy Roesel (+10 guests)
Our speakers were outstanding. I came away, not only better informed on the tax reform debate, but with a better understanding of how schools have had to struggle to meet their funding needs as state funding as declined. Excellent program!
    •  I loved the variety of panelists and enjoyed their informing us. I so happy I attended. I feel much better about the intricacies of legislation and making informed and educated decisions. Education is very important to me. I think we should do all we can to advocate excellence in educational programming in public, charter and home schooling. We are educating our future and that future needs to be adept to be of greater assistance to all with their inpired knowledge and creativity that will benefit everyone through the best educational foundation possible in the developing years of students. Mr. Richardson was excellent. He got my attention regarding tax reform.
